New WriterMag.com goes live on Wed., Jan. 27; forums on Jan. 28
Hello, fellow writers!
We’re pleased to announce some improvements to WriterMag.com and the forums. The Web site will be easier to navigate and have a fresh, new look. Along with these changes to the Web site, our forums will be getting an upgrade, too. Some of the new forum features to look forward to include “friending” other forum members, subscribing to specific discussions that interest you, and making announcements in your profile!
If all goes according to schedule, the new WriterMag.com will launch on Wed., Jan. 27. However, to transfer everything from the old forums to the new forums, the forums will be unavailable from Wed., Jan. 27 to Thurs. Jan. 28.
If you already belong to The Writer forums, you don’t need to do anything: You will not have to re-register. Everyone’s account, along with all old posts, will transfer to the new forums.
Stay tuned: When the switch to the new and improved forums happens, we will post detailed instructions on how to use the new features. If you have any problems with the new forums, such as a forgotten password or questions about the new features, be sure to contact our customer service center.
When you see the change in the forums, be sure to check out The Writer’s improved Web site, too. You’ll find a much improved home page with a new layout; quick links to important sections of the Web site; drop-down menus for better navigation; and an even easier way to search through our extensive archive of articles for articles that interest you.
