Jocelyn1949 Posted: Sun, Jun 24 2012 9:53 PM Reply

Hello to All;

I have an question about writing. I am trying to figure something that is when I am writing and wanted to write an flashback sequence. How I do it in my story?

With a smile on her lips, she remembered the first time she met Eric.  (The things they said and did.  Etc and Etc.)  The smile was still on her lips as she was jolted back to reality when the phone rang.

As long as you let the reader know when the flashback begins and ends, you should be allright.

Good one ! Bandito63 put a very well concept of writing. We just have to visualize our writings to our readers. A good synchronization between virtual vision and understanding  can be made  happened by writer then and only then it will be appreciated.

David;

Well put it; It is well say it in a way that people who could understand on the way the writer and the audience could understand what's the story is about.  I am trying to do that in my story.

Joanne.

The best way to learn something like this is to read your favorite writers and see how they do it.

But I'd suggest studying grammar, as well.  It's "a question", not "an question".
