I have faith that you have captured the essence of a father's return.

Thank you MHC

Alas, this is a true story. All I wanted was for my earthly father to come back and save me. It never happened. I was the only one of his kids who were able to see him on his deathbed before he died. I finally discovered that he kept his distance because my step-father had threatened his life if he ever returned. My real father never knew how badly we needed him.

The faith I found as a Christian saw me through all the tough days.

from childhood's hour I have not been As others were - I have not seen

As others saw - i could not bring My passions from a common spring

(from Alone - Edgar Allan Poe)

I believe that your real father knew exactly how much you needed him - because, it was as much as he needed you. You father does love you!
