Hello All
I am new to the group but not the magazine. I have always had an interest in writing but until a few years ago never followed through with it. I like to tell myself that I was busy raising my family, but let's be honest, I just kept pushing it to the back burner. I have made some changes in my life and now it doesn't seem unrealistic. I have to say that I am enjoying it very much, but find that I too have a little problem avoiding writers block! I find that when I am faced with the big red stop sign, I move on to a different topic. Even if it is a short poem or story, I find that I eventually catch myself thinking about my original project and how to fix it. I currently am well into my first novel, which I would like to see in print of course. I would also like to try my hand at a picture book for something dfferent. If any of you have done one I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Bye for now
