Hi all!

I've always loved writing as a hobby and through school, but have recently decided that I would like to expand my horizons so to speak and delve into the wide world of writing as a career :)  I've written a few short stories and one novel that I'm hoping to get published.  Doing lots of reading online and in the bookstores, I know how difficult the market is to navigate and be successful at, so I figured that the best way is to get connected and talk with other writers.  I would love to hear from anyone about their experiences, tips, and what they are working on, and hopefully improve our craft.  I've written my first query letter and got the expected 'denial', but want to keep plugging away to hopefully one day be able to share my works.
