Anyone with a significant age milestone recently or coming up might appreciate this.

Please enjoy this two page article I wrote on what nearing the age of 40 means to me.  Perhaps you can relate to this:

Happy B-Day [bday]

Forty-something?  Dear child.  Dear, dear sweet child.  I remember forty.  At least I think I remember 40 ...... Make that I Believe I remember forty.  It was so-so, at least thats what the folks at the home tell me.

Seriously.  Relish it.  Revile in it.Angel [angel]

Our eldest daughter will be 39 this August, the middle daughter 36 in September the youngest will be 35 in October.  There are times my husband and I wonder where the time went, then we just stop, hug each other and realize, our daughters are the time we enjoyed and it was well worth every single minute.

Have the Happiest Birthday to date.

As the 60's song says:

"You've Only Just Begun!"  Happy B-Day [bday]Angel [angel]Bow [bow]

Thanks for sharing your essay on turning 40. I enjoyed the upbeat anticipation of life. Your perspective would provide a nice mission statement for any age, which seems to be what you intended. Many happy days!
