Hey guys!
It seems our forum is a little bit quiet, and I was wondering if any of you would be interested in taking part in some writing exercises or challenges. I could start it off by posting a challenge, and give everyone a week to post a response (in the form of a written exercise, of course!), and then either the person posting the challenge could judge, or we can make a jury of peers.
The following week someone could PM me another challenge and I could post it, with the idea that we don't get ten challenges (like we'd get that many posts!) in one week. I wouldn't mind being a "light moderator."
There would be absolutely no prize except the chance to try something new with your writing, strut your stuff and be recognized by other writers. Which, let's face it, is already quite a bit for writers!!
What do you guys think? Any takers? Any other ideas on waking up our sleepy little community? (Which I do enjoy as it is, mind you. Just thought I'd throw something else out there!)
Looking forward to hearing your feedback!
Hi Firebrand
There seems to be more life in this spot than anywher else, so I'll say "Hello" here. It does seem that this forum isn't a lively as it was a while ago.
I looked back to see what the livelyest thread were, and they seem to be ones where someone has posted a subject to write on as the thread title. Why don't you toss out an idea, and see what comes of it?
Just an idea...

Hi Firebrand,
I'm up for a good challenge. You start, and let's see what happens. We need something to perk us up....zzzzzzzzzzzzz - oops, sorry, I'm getting sleepy again.
So where did this go ???
Did everyone fall asleep, or am I missing something ?
