What did readers think of this article?  I got a lot out of it; it definitely shows that John Edward Ames has been a writer for over 30 years.  I liked how it was in a step-by-step format, but much more in-depth than, say, the articles in the "Getting Started/Published" supplement to subscribing.  I especially liked what Ames says about dialogue.  Check it out if you haven't already...
