Just need a little help

I have this one story that only took me a couple of months to work on. My process was very hard. First i had to plan everything out in my head, jot down notes, use a taperecorder to record notes, write it down on paper, write it all over again (w/corrections) then I typed it up with even more corrections. I used an old computer that just kept crashing at times. Add in the fact that I was in the hospital a while last year.

Anyway, I was wondering if someone out there could help me with trying to find someway to get my story published. I added the pages up and I think 123 pages qualifies it as a book. I could be wrong but if I could just get somehelp with this that would be great.

A little help
I research many companies - I like Dog Ear Publishing because they are customer friendly (I didn't go with them though because I went for the best price.) Lulu, if you don't want a lot of copies. I went with Booksurge but there are others that are author easy and friendly.  I communicated with plenty. They have various programs to choose from. I say KEEP IT SIMPLE. Google the publishing companies and look for what the answers from their programs that suit your intentions. How many books will you want to have published - if you don't have a market already ~ meaning your mailing list and contacts are limited - go for a small amount. 2) what is your budget?  Often authors want to share their work with friends and family and with a hope that another few will sell.  Most important (a hard lesson I learned) have a good proofreader - not you.  Other eyes. And before the proofreader, have an editor look it over if you are serious about publishing for the public.  Good luck.
