Looking for contests!

	I'd like to enter the blog I've been writing for the past ten months in a contest or two, but when I searched "Yahoo" for ideas, it came up with 121 million hits. Any suggestions as to where I ought to start looking for legitimate on-line writing competitions? www.runningwithstilettos.com

	Hi Runningwithstilettos, Wow, running with stilettos, either knives or heels sound pretty dangerous to me. I would stick with the better competitions like The Writer, Writers Digest, major magazine and major book publishing lines. You didn't say what kind of writing you were interested in. Bob

	At the moment, I'm looking for contests pretty much revolving around personal essays. Been blogging every so often since New Year, every time I think I've run out of steam, another rant pops out! Mary www.runningwithstilettos.com
