Has anyone ever heard of this one? And if you have, has your experience been good, bad, or run of the mill? I've been cleaning out my file cabinets this week and found a letter from them. I've never heard of them, so I know I haven't queried them or submitted anything. This person, I'm assuming the editor, simply gave me what-for! I don't even know her! Never even heard of this press, which I'm assuming is a small, kept-in-the-dark sort of operation. Geez, she was all over me about the war and my writing career. Has anyone else had an out of the blue letter like this? I'm thinking maybe this is a an old person with Alzheimer's or perhaps just a nut. Comments? Thanks.

Basically, it was something like this: You didn't pay any attention to my presence the last time I was in your area. You're a horrid person, a worse citizen, and because you have paid no attention to me or my political agenda, the ongoing war is all your fault. I've been associated with (a nearby town) for many years. My family was a founder of the town. You're a nobody and I'm a publisher! Blah, blah, blah.

I never responded because as I stated before, I think this chick is either a nut or has some sort of mental or psychological defect going on. Apparently, I am someone of note or why would she be angry that I don't submit my books to her company? There are many noteworthy people who straggle in and out of this area. I don't pay attention to any of them, so why is she getting her panties in a knot? As far as the war thing goes, I'm pretty sure I didn't have anything to do with it. Go figure. Nuts fall out of their trees every day.
