I propose a write off for the phate of our planet.

Whoever wins gains the right to try his – or her as the case may be – hand at world domination.

Two pages (at least, but try to stay under five) of _why_ we want to conquer this world.

• What devices would you use (ie for me it would be penguins)
• What your main reasons are for believing that the world would operate better under your guidance
• Would you use threats and force or guise and subterfuge, etc.

These questions _must_ be met within paper, however, feel free to babble at will about other things.

I offer that the senior members of this board judge our entries and declare a winner. Since both of us are new there will be no partiality.

What do you say, Mark? A duel, then?

Any of the upper level members want to decide the phate of the world? :p

We need a submission date to be set, and maybe a few guidlines I have missed?

Well, if the winner gets to enslave the world (personally, I'd settle for Nicole Kidman) the loser should have to pay a heavy price, don't you think? I mean, it's only fair. Say for punishment the loser has to read the complete collection of Henry James novels or write "It was a dark and stormy night" five hundred times using a stubby No. 2 pencil or write an admiring letter to Nicholas Sparks and read it out loud in class (I'm assuming you two goofs are in school).

If I remember to bother to look, I'm be glad to put in my two-cents worth when you're done. Hint: Including Nicole (preferably, scantily clad) in your piece will earn extra points from me. I can be bought.

Mew o_O Kitty has a thing for the aussie!

Remember to look then :p

Also, Didy, to keep honor among thieves so to speak... would you be willing to submit Friday at midnight (or as close to as possible) and not before?

'twould work better, me thinks.

Either way, happy writing :p

Edit: alleycat... I graduated Dec 04 from Uni. (Would have been a year earlier than that but I failed to notice I could... -__-) I've taken college classes since my tenth grade year in HS and I never want to take another one ever again. Oddly enough, Im going back for my masters soon >_<

okay. agreed.

but alleycat, im assuming that the person that loses would probably be found and fed to crocodiles or something. who knows, they might backstab at any moment. i mean, if he gave ME power, i might backstab him and take the world. just like that. honk honk.

The only problem is we don't have a moat full of crocs here on the forum. Alas, they drained it some time ago and filled with romance writers.

Well, whatever. Just be aware, Sir Didy, Phate is already ahead since he's using penguins.

I declare myself the winner, plus I get to be the pope. All of you have to write romance novels with a heavy emphasis on gardening.

How about I judge, and if Mark loses he has to wash my car? lol
But Mark, that means you actually have to use spell check and proper grammer and punctuation!

And YES< anyone can participate! That's what makes it fun!

Didy! Ack, Ive had no online time.... or comp time at all -__-

That being my point... I think I will have to forefeit ;_;

I know I wont be able to devote any time to writing and I dont want to submit a sub par take-over-the-world paper : /

Unless you wanna postpone it another 12 days untill I get home :p bwahaha

Otherwise, just let everyone take part in our duel (not really a duel anymore, tho ;_;) and we shall spar some other time ; )

Anyway, must flee... swimming time ^_^
